Biography

Hey everyone! My name is Blair Snyder. I am a sophomore agriculture transfer student at the East Campus! I am hoping to transfer to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am super involved on campus! I am on the Soil Judging Team, a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Ambassador team and the Student Government Association President here at the East Campus. I grew up on my family’s row crop farm located about two minutes from the East Campus! I have been roaming the halls of East since I was eight because my mom is the registrar for both campuses! I chose Black Hawk East because of the community we have here. I can walk into any of the staff offices, and they can: 1) fix my problem, 2) find me someone who can, or 3) have a good conversation about almost anything. I appreciate the support and opportunities that East brings to me. I also love the class sizes. I have had classes of five students all the way up to 40 students. Some of my hobbies include painting, listening to music, and advocating for agriculture. I am excited to be a part of this new team!
